Position Overview
A successful State Farm agency is seeking an organized, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Service Team Member to support daily agency operations and provide exceptional customer service. This role assists policyholders with servicing existing insurance and financial service accounts while helping maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, payments, and general account servicing
- Process endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy updates
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and text communications
- Review coverage with customers and identify potential gaps or additional needs
- Support the agency with claims assistance and follow-up
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and assist with agency workflow management
- Provide prompt, friendly, and professional customer service
- Help retain existing customers through relationship building and problem resolution
- Support sales team initiatives and cross-selling opportunities when appropriate
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Customer service experience preferred
- Insurance experience preferred but not required
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with computer systems and office software
